Michael Ray FitzGerald

Michael Ray FitzGerald is a former musician, journalist and university instructor. He has written for dozens of publications and is the author of four books, his latest being Jacksonville and the Roots of Southern Rock, which won a Florida Book Award from the State of Florida. He earned a master’s degree in mass communication from University of Florida and a doctoral degree in film and television from University of Reading in England.

Kenneth Scott Sisson is a former musician, video producer and comedy writer for the Bill Tush Show on Atlanta’s Superstation WTBS. He grew up in Central Georgia, not far from Macon, and is steeped in southern storytelling and southern humor, which is a bit off-kilter. He retains a penchant for the absurd. His favorite author is Harry Crews.

Steve Wheeler

Steve Wheeler is a former professional musician steeped in southern rock. As guitarist and songwriter for the Danny Joe Brown Band on Epic (Sony) Records, he wrote the group’s only hit, “Nobody Walks on Me,” which was featured frequently on MTV. He’s also a visual artist working in oils.
